The first easy-to-assemble bathroom furniture in Europe
The first easy-to-assemble bathroom furniture in Europe is now a reality thanks to Royo, the leading brand of RGIB. Royo has managed to sell more than 30,000 units through its commercial network in Europe since its launch, in January of this year. The product, developed by Royo’s R&D Department, is the first bathroom furniture for which tools are not necessary it and can be assembled easily by the user in just 15 minutes. In the design process, a substantial reduction in assembly time of 80% has been achieved.
The Royo “Clik” system, guarantees that the pieces fit together without the need to fix them with other parts like metallic screws or any other similar type of system. The fundamental advantage of “Clik” is that it can be assembled at the client’s home thanks to the fact that it is totally intuitive and does not require any great skill.
This new self-assembly model, which has already successfully passed the market test in a neighbouring country, is a development by Royo’s R&D team which it was working on for 3 years after receiving the commission from the company’s commercial management : to launch a piece of furniture manufactured in kit form to be assembled in the client’s home and which is easy to make. Once all the technical tests had been passed, the Clik furniture was introduced into the industrial process and today it is already a reality in the entire European DIY retail network.
Royo is part of Royo International Bathroom Group, a pan-European group of recognised brands in each country, which diversifies its products, categories and ranges in the bathroom and shower environment and adapts its strategy to new times and consumer habits.
RGIB today a group that is well positioned commercially in Europe. It currently works with more than 7,000 points of sale in stores specialising in ceramics and sanitary ware in Europe as well as with the top 10 players of the European DIY channel and will continue to strive to increase the importance of its market position.
However, the RGIB plans do not stop here. The group is in the process of expanding through the specialised sales channels and is researching the acquisition of well-positioned and relevant local companies in the 6 key European markets: Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland.
